I came to web design because I needed a website and wanted to have complete control over it. Most of my clients want this too, but it's surprisingly hard to come by.

Templates are available if you don't mind your site looking the same as everyone else's, but they can be difficult to change in style and content.

I take a realistic view of what a website is worth to a small business and appreciate that many of you don't have a large advertising budget. I believe that the bespoke websites I provide offer excellent value compared to print ads, and I offer options for one-off payment or monthly subscription.

I'm not interested in advertising my web services nationally because I believe in the importance of meeting my local clients in person to learn what they want out of their website and how it fits in with the rest of their marketing. See some examples.
